Announcement Ref. No.: SQASI/CMCS/1/23/0005 Updates on the arrangement of services operation by CMC

Dear Valued Customers,

We are pleased to inform you that, in light of the improved situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lifting of lockdown measures, CMCS has made some changes to our service operations.

Referring to the previous announcements published in eComM during the pandemic, we would like to provide you with the following updates:

a. Announcement titled SQASI/CMCS/1/20/0004 EXTENSION OF MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (MCO) (formerly MOVEMENT RESTRICTION ORDER) BY THE GOVERNMENT: Item no. iv (b) Application will now be granted an interim approval for a period of 3 months, as opposed to the previous duration of 1 month.

b. Announcement titled SQASI/CMCS/1/21/0011 NOTICE ON CMCS SERVICES OPERATION PURSUANT TOTAL NATIONWIDE LOCKDOWN BY THE GOVERNMENT: For products that require connectivity testing, the tests will now be conducted physically with the dedicated officer in charge. Applicants should make the necessary arrangements accordingly.

Please note that both aforementioned changes will no longer be applicable starting from 1/08/2023. Therefore, the 3 months interim approval will no longer be in effect, and for products that require connectivity testing, applicants are required to conduct the tests physically with the dedicated officer in charge.
